Primary Elemental Abilities


Primary Elemental Abilities
Before you enter the game, you must first select your character's primary elemental ability. On your acceptance letter your character has been assigned an element. Find the element below and choose one of the five Primary Elemental Abilities beneath it to be your character's first ability.

Your character's primary element and ability are the magic given to their dragon by the Great Beasts when the character is resurrected as a Scion. The character and their dragon share this element and ability through their bond. The more a Scion uses the magic that links them to their dragon and the world of Osaaru, the more addictive and natural it will become until using their shared magic becomes as natural as breathing for the pair.

Choose wisely, but remember that you will have opportunities to gain more abilities going forward.

Earth
Rock Burst A small burst of rocks explodes outward several feet from around the caster in a circular pattern.
Rock Weapon Call surrounding earth to form a weapon made of rock the caster can wield. Can be in the form of a sword, mace, axe or other melee weapon. Rock Weapons have jagged edges and leave painful grit in the wounds they create. Elemental weapons may take on different forms each time they are summoned.
Earthen Shield Forms a shield of solid rock around the caster's arm that can be used in the same fashion as a physical shield and may damage physical attackers on its jagged surface. Capable of being continually rebuilt until the caster runs out of spirit energy or stops casting.
Healing Sap The caster calls on the sap from nearby plants, drawing out their magic. The sap soothes the target's pain and allows for minor healing.
Siphon Energy: Earth Draws energy from the nearby earth to restore the caster's Spirit energy and provide a boost of earthen might.
Energy
Lightning Burst A small burst of lightning explodes outward several feet from around the caster in a circular pattern.
Plasma Weapon Call surrounding electrical energies to form a weapon made of plasma the caster can wield. Can be in the form of a sword, mace, axe or other melee weapon. Plasma weapons leave painful shocks near the wound that linger as a burning sensation along the nerves. Elemental weapons may take on different forms each time they are summoned
Energy Shield Forms a shield of plasma around the caster's arm that can be used in the same fashion as a physical shield and may discharge a shock against physical attackers. Capable of being continually rebuilt until the caster runs out of spirit energy or stops casting.
Transfer Energy The caster calls on the energy around them and transfers the collected energy to themselves or another. The transfer gives the target a jolt of energy and heals minor injuries.
Siphon Energy: Lightning Draws energy from the atmosphere to restore the caster's Spirit energy and provide a boost of stamina.
Fire
Flame Burst A small burst of fire explodes outward several feet from around the caster in a circular pattern.
Fire Weapon Call surrounding flames to form a weapon made of fire the caster can wield. Can be in the form of a sword, mace, axe or other melee weapon. Fire weapons sear flesh around the wounds they create, leaving painful burns around the edges of the wound. Elemental weapons may take on different forms each time they are summoned
Fire Shield Forms a shield of solid fire around the caster's arm that can be used in the same fashion as a physical shield and may absorb a small amount of magical damage. Capable of being continually rebuilt until the caster runs out of spirit energy or stops casting.
Healing Flame The caster creates cold, white flames around their hand. Applying the flames to injuries cauterizes wounds and allows minor healing.
Siphon Energy: Flame Draws energy from nearby fire or heat to restore the caster's Spirit energy and provide a boost of fiery power.
Ice
Ice Burst A small burst of ice shards explodes outward several feet from around the caster in a circular pattern.
Ice Weapon Call surrounding ice or water to form a weapon made of ice the caster can wield. Can be in the form of a sword, mace, axe or other melee weapon. Ice weapons are extremely sharp and cut deep but clean. Numbness spreads from the wound, making injured body parts harder to use for a time. Elemental weapons may take on different forms each time they are summoned
Ice Shield Forms a shield of solid ice around the caster's arm that can be used in the same fashion as a physical shield and may reflect a small amount of magical damage. Capable of being continually rebuilt until the caster runs out of spirit energy or stops casting.
Healing Frost The caster creates a layer of frost that numbs the target's pain and allows minor healing when applied to injuries.
Siphon Energy: Frost Draws energy from the surrounding frost or cold to restore the caster's Spirit energy and provide a boost of endurance.
Light
Light Burst A small burst of blinding light explodes outward several feet from around the caster in a circular pattern.
Laser Weapon Call surrounding light to form a weapon made of burning light the caster can wield. Can be in the form of a sword, mace, axe or other melee weapon. Laser weapons cauterize the wounds they create but leave behind a painful burning sensation. Elemental weapons may take on different forms each time they are summoned
Light Shield Forms a shield of solid light around the caster's arm that can be used in the same fashion as a physical shield and may reflect a small amount of magical damage. Capable of being continually rebuilt until the caster runs out of spirit energy or stops casting.
Healing Light The caster calls on the light around them to sterilize and cleanse target wounds and allow minor healing.
Siphon Energy: Light Draws energy from the surrounding light to restore the caster's Spirit energy and provide a boost of determined might.
Shadow
Shadow Burst A small burst of infected darkness explodes outward several feet from around the caster in a circular pattern.
Shadow Weapon Call surrounding darkness to form a weapon made of darkness the caster can wield. Can be in the form of a sword, mace, axe or other melee weapon. Shadow weapons leave infections in the wounds they create that spread black through the veins for a small distance from the wound itself. Elemental weapons may take on different forms each time they are summoned
Shadow Shield Forms a shield of solid darkness around the caster's arm that can be used in the same fashion as a physical shield and may absorb a small amount of magical damage. Capable of being continually rebuilt until the caster runs out of spirit energy or stops casting.
Heal Bane The caster calls on the surrounding shadows to expel toxins from the target and allow minor healing.
Siphon Energy: Shadow Draws energy from the nearby darkness to restore the caster's Spirit energy and provide a short burst of relentless conviction.
Water
Water Burst A small burst of hard water explodes outward several feet from around the caster in a circular pattern.
Water Weapon Call surrounding water to form a weapon made of hard water the caster can wield. Can be in the form of a sword, mace, axe or other melee weapon. Water weapons are hard but flexible. Their forms can be changed fluidly in battle but their strikes cut in waves, leaving multiple wounds when they strike. Water weapons may take on different forms during battle
Hydroshield Forms a shield of hard water around the caster's arm that can be used in the same fashion as a physical shield and may cushion blows with shifting currents. Capable of being continually rebuilt until the caster runs out of spirit energy or stops casting.
Healing Waters The caster calls on nearby water to cleanse wounds, soothing the target's burns and allowing minor healing when applied.
Siphon Energy: Water Draws energy from the nearby water to restore the caster's Spirit energy and provide a boost of fluid agility.
Wind
Wind Burst A small burst of slicing winds explodes outward several feet from around the caster in a circular pattern.
Wind Weapon Call on the surrounding air to form a weapon made of slicing wind the caster can wield. Can be in the form of a sword, mace, axe or other melee weapon. Wind Weapons can also take the form of a bow or crossbow and strike with incredible speed. Elemental weapons may take on different forms each time they are summoned
Wind Shield Forms a shield of solid air around the caster's arm that can be used in the same fashion as a physical shield and may cushion blows with shifting currents. Capable of being continually rebuilt until the caster runs out of spirit energy or stops casting.
Healing Breeze The caster calls on the air around them to clear the target's lungs and allow minor healing.
Siphon Energy: Wind Draws energy from the air to restore the caster's Spirit energy and provide a boost of speed.
